Windshield Washer Reservoir: Service and Repair

WASHER PUMP AND RESERVOIR - FRONT

REMOVAL
1. Remove the engine air cleaner.







2. Remove the windshield wiper reservoir fasteners.
- Remove the two screws and two nuts.







3. Disconnect the windshield washer reservoir pump electrical connector.

4. WARNING: Windshield washer solution contains methanol, which is poisonous. Observe all cautions and warnings indicated on the label of the washer solution container.

Disconnect the windshield washer hose from the windshield washer pump and plug the outlet of the pump.

5. Disconnect the coolant overflow hose from the engine coolant overflow reservoir and plug the outlet of the reservoir.







6. NOTE: Make sure not to damage the rubber grommet during disassembly.

Remove the windshield washer pump.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
