Timing Cover

CAUTION: Make sure the capscrew is installed. If it is missed, an engine oil leak may occur.

NOTE: The number 12 position is not part of the staged torque.






Install the studs. Tighten to 7 Nm (62 inch lbs.).
Tighten the front cover bolts in the sequence shown in two stages:
Stage 1: Tighten the bolts to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.).
