Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S)

EGO Sensor Wrench:

SPECIAL TOOL(S)

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.







3. Disconnect the HO2S electrical connector.

NOTE: Front Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) shown, rear similar.







4. Using the special tool, remove the HO2S.
^ If necessary, lubricate the HO2S with penetrating and lock lubricant to assist in removal.

NOTE: Front HO2S shown, rear similar.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Apply a light coat of anti-seize lubricant to the threads of the HO2S.
