Gearshift Linkage

Removal





1. Remove the gearshift lever cover.
1 Unclip the cover or boot.
2 Twist off the gearshift lever knob. Take out the damping sleeves and compression spring.
^ Separate the connectors (number and configuration depends on equipment).





2. Remove the floor console.





3. Remove the shift and selector cables from the gearshift lever.
^ Remove the cables by twisting the abutment collar counter-clockwise.





4. Remove the shift mechanism.

Installation





1. Reinstall the components in the reverse order.
2. Adjust the gearshift mechanism.
