Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

INSPECTION AND VERIFICATION

NOTE: This vehicle is equipped with a programmable indicator flasher. It is possible during the life of the vehicle that the indicator flasher may need to be reset or re-programmed. If the battery has been disconnected or has lost power, carry out the Indicator Flasher Reset/Re-Program Procedure.

1. Verify the customer concern by operating the system.

2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical or electrical damage.
3. If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the next step.
4. If the concern is not visually evident, verify the symptom and proceed to the Symptom Chart. Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
