Throttle Body: Service and Repair

THROTTLE BODY

REMOVAL

WARNING: Do not smoke or carry lighted tobacco or open flame of any type when working on or near any fuel-related components. Highly flammable mixtures are always present and may be ignited. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.

CAUTION:
- The electronic throttle body is serviced as a complete assembly. Individual components cannot be serviced.
- Throttle body bore and plate area have a special coating and cannot be cleaned, or possible damage to the throttle body may occur.

1. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.







2. Remove the parts in the order indicated in the illustration and table.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
