Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair
MASS AIR FLOW (MAF) SENSORREMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. CAUTION: The mass air flow (MAF) sensor electronics module and body are calibrated as a unit and must be serviced as a unit. Do not tamper with the sensing elements located in the air flow bypass of the MAF body.
Remove the components in the order indicated in the illustration and table.
Item 3: Grommet Removal Note
1. Remove the grommet from the air cleaner cover and slide it down the electrical harness to allow the removal of the air cleaner inner cover and the MAF sensor.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

1. Slide the grommet up the electrical harness and install it onto the air cleaner cover.
