Idle Speed/Throttle Actuator - Electronic: Service and Repair

IDLE AIR CONTROL (IAC) VALVE

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.







2. Disconnect the idle air control (IAC) valve electrical connector.







3. Remove the bolts and the IAC valve and the gasket. Discard the gasket.

INSTALLATION

1. NOTE: Install a new IAC gasket.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Use a new gasket.
