System Specifications

The cylinder head bolts are torque-to-yield and must not be reused. New cylinder head bolts must be installed.

Cylinder Head Bolts:
Stage 1 5 Nm (44 inch lbs.)
Stage 2 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.)
Stage 3 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.)
Stage 4 90 degrees.
Stage 5 additional 90 degrees.

Head face flatness; 0.1 mm/general 0.05 mm 200 x 200 (0.0003 in./general) (0.0019 in./7.87 x 7.87)
Intake Manifold Bolts 18 Nm (13 ft. lbs.)





Cam Shaft Bearing Cap Bolts
Stage 1 Tighten the camshaft bearing bolt caps one turn at a time until tight.
Stage 2 7 Nm (62 inch lbs.)
Stage 3 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.)
Cam Shaft Sprocket 65 Nm (48 ft lbs.)
