Hood Latch: Service and Repair

HOOD LATCH

REMOVAL







1. NOTE: Mark the hood latch position prior to removal of the bolts.

Position the hood latch aside.
1 Remove the bolts.
2 Position the hood latch aside.







2. Remove the hood latch.
1 Remove the hood latch cable conduit end fitting from the hood latch housing.
2 Remove the hood latch cable end fitting from the hood latch release lever.
3 Remove the hood latch.

INSTALLATION







1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Adjust the hood latch.
