IGNITION LOCK CYLINDER - FUNCTIONAL

Removal and Installation

NOTE: When a new lock cylinder is installed, the door lock cylinder and ignition lock cylinder should be installed as a set. This eliminates carrying and extra key which will fit only one lock. If a new key is used, the new key code number is stamped on a metal tag attached to the key.

1. Disconnect the battery.







2. Remove the ignition switch lock cylinder.
1 Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
2 Using a suitable tool, press the ignition switch lock cylinder release pin while pulling out the ignition switch lock cylinder.

3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
