GENERATOR

Removal and Installation
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Release the accessory drive belt tension and remove the drive belt from the generator pulley.







3. CAUTION: When installing the generator, be sure to hand-start the generator battery positive cable nut to prevent cross-threading.

Disconnect the generator wire harness.
1 Disconnect the harness retainer from the generator bracket stud.
2 Remove the nut and disconnect the battery positive cable.
3 Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors and position the wire harness aside.







4. Remove the generator bracket bolt.







5. Remove the lower bolts and the generator.
6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
