Front Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair

FRONT DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR

Removal and Installation
1. Remove the window control switch (if so equipped).
2. Remove the door trim panel.
3. Remove the door speaker. Remove the door watershield.

4. NOTE: Do not remove the window glass from the door.

Remove the window glass from the window regulator.

5. Tape the window glass in the full up position.







6. Disconnect the window motor electrical connector.







7. Loosen the window regulator arm nuts and pull the arm from the mounting position.







8. Loosen the bolts and remove the window regulator.
9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
