Test C: The Adjustable Pedal Memory Function Does Not Operate Manual Switch Commands Functional

Pinpoint Test C: The Adjustable Pedal Memory Function Does Not Operate Manual Switch Commands Functional

Normal Operation
The adjustable brake and accelerator pedal memory function uses a variable resistor as an adjustable pedal potentiometer. The driver seat module (DSM) applies a reference voltage to the potentiometer. The output voltage to the DSM locates a specific pedal position. When the driver sets a pedal position in the DSM, the potentiometer output voltage is stored in memory. When the driver requests a return to a pedal position in memory, the DSM operates the adjustable pedal motor until the adjustable pedal potentiometer output matches the voltage stored in memory

Possible Causes
^ circuit 446 (OG/WH) open
^ circuit 447 (OG/RD) open
^ circuit 1491 (LB/YE) open
^ adjustable pedal motor
^ DSM
