Test P: The LH/RH Turn Indicator Is Never On

PINPOINT TEST P: THE LH/RH TURN INDICATOR IS NEVER ON

Test P1-P4:

Test P4-P5:

Normal Operation
The LH turn indicator bulb is powered through circuit 3 (LG/WH) when the LH turn signal is on. The RH turn indicator bulb is powered through circuit 2 (WH/LB) when the RH turn signal is on. The LH and RH turn indicator bulbs are grounded through the instrument cluster bulb ground circuit 57 (BK). When the RH or LH turn signals are selected on, fluctuating power is supplied through the multifunction switch from the turn/hazard flasher relay to the instrument cluster to flash the RH or LH turn indicator, depending upon the multifunction switch position.

Possible Causes
- circuit 2 (WH/LB) open
- circuit 3 (LG/WH) open
- circuit 57 (BK) open
- multifunction switch
- instrument cluster
