ISSUE
Some 2006 E-1501250 vehicles equipped with a 4.6L engine may exhibit the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) on with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P0172 and/or P0175 and no drivability symptoms.
ACTION
Reprogram the powertrain control module (PCM) to the latest calibration using WDS release B39.15 and higher or B40.2 and higher. This new calibration is not included in the B40 CD. Calibration files may also be obtained at the website.
