Removal and Installation
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the engine cover.
3. Disconnect the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) vacuum regulator solenoid electrical connector.
4. Disconnect the EGR vacuum regulator solenoid vacuum hose connector.
5. Remove the EGR vacuum regulator solenoid nut and the EGR vacuum regulator solenoid.
- To install, tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).

6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
