PINPOINT TEST G: THE ILLUMINATED ENTRY IS INOPERATIVE WHEN USING THE REMOTE TRANSMITTER

Normal Operation
The illuminated entry feature is activated by the vehicle security module and the instrument cluster. The vehicle security module provides a ground on circuit 343 (DB/LG) to alert the instrument cluster to illuminate the interior lamps.

Possible Causes
- Circuit 343 (DB/LG) open or short to voltage
- Instrument cluster
- Vehicle security module
