Hood Latch Release Handle

HOOD LATCH RELEASE HANDLE

Removal and Installation
1. Remove the hood latch.







2. Remove the 3 hood latch release handle cable locators.
3. Remove the 2 hood latch release handle screws.
- To install, tighten to:
- 6 Nm (53 lb-in)(vehicles built through 10/2005).
- 15 Nm (11 lb-ft)(vehicles built through 10/2005).

4. NOTE: The hood latch release handle and cable assembly must be pulled through the dash panel into the passenger compartment.

Remove the hood latch release handle and cable assembly.

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
