Transfer Case

NOTE: Installation is for both Navigator and Expedition.





1. To Install reverse the removal procedure.
^ Install a new transfer case-to-transmission gasket.
^ Fill the transfer case. For additional information refer to Transfer Case Draining and Filling in the General Procedures when refilling the transfer case. Refer to Specifications for the correct type and quantity of fluid.
^ Tighten the transfer case-to-transmission bolts evenly in a star pattern.
