Removal
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.





2. Remove the grille.





3. Remove the inner grille air deflector.





4. Push the lower air deflector down past the transmission fluid cooler.





5. Disconnect the transmission fluid cooler hoses.
^ Remove and discard the transmission fluid cooler hose clamps.





6. Remove the secondary latch from the cooler tube.





7. Use the special tool to disconnect the quick connect coupler.





8. Remove the secondary latch from the cooler hose.





9. Use the special tool to disconnect the quick connect coupler.
10. Remove the hoses from the retainer.

Installation
1. Install the hoses into the retainer.





2. Install the fluid cooler hose to the in-radiator transmission fluid cooler.





3. Install the secondary latch.





4. Install the fluid cooler hose to the cooler tube.





5. Install the secondary latch.





6. Using new hose clamps, install the transmission fluid cooler hoses.





7. Push the air deflector back into place.





8. Install the inner grille air deflector.





9. Install the grille.
10. Fill transmission fluid to the correct level using clean automatic transmission fluid and inspect for leaks.
