Normal Operation
Under normal operation, the RH rear window control switch receives power from the LH front window control switch through circuit CPW14 (VT/WH). The RH rear window control switch provides power to the power window motor through circuit CPW23 (GY) and ground through circuit CPW24 (VT/BK) to operate the passenger rear window DOWN; and power through circuit CPW24 (VT/BK) and ground through circuit CPW23 (GY) to operate the passenger rear window UP.
When operating the RH rear window using the LH front window control switch, power is sent to the RH rear window control switch through circuit CPW17 (GN/RD) and ground through circuit CPW18 (GY/VT) to operate the RH rear window DOWN; and power through circuit CPW18 (GY/VT) and ground through circuit CPW17 (GN/RD) to operate the RH rear window UP.
Possible Causes
- Open in circuits CPW14 (VT/WH), CPW18 (GY/VT), CPW17 (GN/RD), CPW24 (VT/BK) or CPW23 (GY)
- Inoperative LH front window control switch
- Inoperative RH rear window control switch
- Inoperative RH rear window motor
