Rear Window Glass - Regulator and Motor

REAR WINDOW GLASS - REGULATOR AND MOTOR







Removal

Regular and Crew Cab vehicles
1. Remove the rear trim panels.

SuperCab vehicles
2. Remove the child safety seat tether anchors.
3. Remove the rear corner trim panels.

All vehicles







4. Disconnect the power sliding window cable retainer clips.







5. NOTE: Left side shown, right side similar.

Remove the left cable swag from the power sliding window.







6. Remove the left transition block from the sliding window trough.







7. Remove the left transition block from the cable end.







8. Pull the left cable end out of the sliding window trough.
9. Repeat steps 5 through 8 for the right side.







10. Remove the power sliding window motor and bracket.
1 Disconnect the electrical connector.
2 Remove the bolts.
- To install, tighten to 11 Nm (8 lb-ft).

Installation

All vehicles







1. NOTE: Left side shown, right side similar.

Install the left cable end into the sliding window trough.







2. Install the left transition block on the cable end.







3. Install the left transition block in the rear sliding window trough.







4. Install the left-hand cable swag into the rear sliding window.
5. Repeat Steps 1 through 4 for the right side.

SuperCab vehicles
6. Install the rear corner trim panels.

Regular and Crew Cab vehicles
7. Install the rear trim panel.
