Test F: The Speed Control Does Not Disengage When The Clutch Is Applied

Pinpoint Test F: The Speed Control Does Not Disengage When The Clutch Is Applied

Normal Operation

The clutch pedal position (CPP) switch, normally closed, supplies a voltage signal to the powertrain control module (PCM) through circuit 306 (TN/LB). When the clutch pedal is applied, the CPP switch moves to the open position causing the PCM to lose the voltage signal and deactivate the speed control.

Possible Causes
- Circuit 306 (TN/LB) short to voltage
- CPP switch
- PCM
