Normal Operation
The vehicle security module monitors circuits 1210 (BK/WH), unlock, and 1211 (WH/RD), lock. The vehicle security module receives a ground signal on either the lock or the unlock circuit. The vehicle security module then sends voltage through circuit 117 (PK/BK) to lock all the doors or send voltage through circuits 163 (RD/OG) and 118 (PK/OG) to unlock all the doors. The power door lock actuators operate in either the lock or unlock direction based on which circuit(s) are supplying voltage.

Possible Causes
- circuit 57 (BK) open
- circuit 117 (PK/BK) open or short to ground
- circuit 118 (PK/OG) open or short to ground
- circuit 163 (RD/OG) open or short to ground
- circuit 1210 (BK/WH) open
- circuit 1211 (WH/RD) open
- power door lock actuator(s)
- vehicle security module
