Normal Operation
The instrument cluster receives voltage through circuit 210 (LB) when the 4WD mode indicator switch is in the 4WD low position. The instrument cluster receives voltage through circuit 975 (BN/YE) when the 4WD mode indicator switch is in the 4WD high position.

Possible Causes
- circuit 210 (LB) open, short to ground or short to voltage
- circuit 975 (BN/YE) open, short to ground or short to voltage
- mode indicator switch
- 4WD control module
- instrument cluster
