Mode Indication Switch
Removal and Installation

NOTE: Only vehicles with a mechanical shift transfer case are equipped with a mode indication switch.

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.





2. Disconnect the wiring harness connector.
3. Remove the mode indication switch.
^ To install, tighten to 31 Nm (23 ft. lbs.).

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
