Removal and Installation
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Maintenance/Service and Repair.





2. Remove the brake hose from the support bracket.

3. CAUTION: Do not allow the caliper to hang by the brake hose or damage to the hose can occur.

Remove the 2 brake caliper anchor plate bolts from the wheel knuckle. Position the brake caliper and anchor plate aside as an assembly.
^ Support the brake caliper and anchor plate assembly mechanic's wire.
^ To install, tighten to 133 Nm (98 ft. lbs.).
4. Remove the brake disc.
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
