FRONT DOOR WINDOW GLASS

Removal and Installation

All vehicles
1. Remove the front door speaker.
2. Remove the side impact bolster.
3. Position the door latch release handle aside.

4. CAUTION: Do not touch the adhesive surface, as re-bonding will be impaired.

Remove the watershield.

Vehicles with power windows







5. Remove the retainers and position the one-touch down relay aside.







6. Connect the window control switch electrical connector.

Vehicles with manual windows
7. Install the window regulator handle.

All vehicles
8. Remove the 2 door window glass clamp bolts.
- To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).

9. Hold the window glass at the top of the opening, lower the regulator and remove the window glass from the regulator.







10. Remove the window glass.
1 Lift the glass.
2 Tip the glass forward and remove the glass from the front of the door.

11. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
