Normal Operation
When the headlamp switch is in the parking lamps or headlamps ON position, ground is supplied to the parking lamp relay coil through circuit 1032 (WH/BK). The parking lamp relay provides switched voltage to the instrument panel dimmer switch on circuit 15 (RD/YE) from the smart junction box (SJB). The instrument panel dimmer switch provides a variable voltage to the instrument cluster and panel switches on circuit 19 (LB/RD).

Possible Causes
- fuse(s)
- circuit 15 (RD/YE) open
- circuit 19 (LB/RD) open or short to ground
- headlamp switch
- instrument panel dimmer switch
