PINPOINT TEST E: THE HEADLAMPS ARE ON CONTINUOUSLY

E7-E9:

Normal Operation
When the headlamp switch is placed in the HEADLAMPS ON position, the headlamp switch routes voltage to the multifunction switch through circuit 164 (VT/LB).

When the multifunction switch is in the LOW BEAM position, the multifunction switch routes the voltage to the smart junction box (SJB) through circuit 13 (RD/BK). The SJB then routes the voltage to the LH and RH low beams through circuits 1055 (WH/LG) and 1056 (DB/LG), respectively.

When the multifunction switch is in the HIGH BEAM position, the multifunction switch routes voltage to the SJB through circuit 632 (GY/OG). The SJB then routes voltage to the high beams through circuit 12 (LG/BK).

Possible Causes
- Circuit 12 (LG/BK) short to voltage
- Circuit 13 (RD/BK) short to voltage
- Circuit 164 (VT/LB) short to voltage
- Circuit 632 (GY/OG) short to voltage
- Circuit 1055 (WH/LG) short to voltage
- Circuit 1056 (DB/LG) short to voltage
