Headlamp Switch: Service and Repair

HEADLAMP SWITCH

Removal and Installation







1. Remove the 2 screws and the instrument panel center finish panel.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.







2. Remove the 2 screws and the hood latch release handle.







3. Remove the 2 screws and the lower instrument panel cover.







4. Remove the 6 bolts and the lower instrument panel reinforcement.
- To install, tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).

5. If equipped, position the column gear shift lever out of the way.







6. Remove the 5 screws and the cluster finish panel.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.







7. Remove the headlamp switch knob.







8. Remove the headlamp switch.
1 Remove the 2 screws.
2 Remove the headlamp switch.

9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
