Test F: The Delayed Accessory Relay Does Not Turn Off/All Windows Operate With the Ignition In the Off Position
PINPOINT TEST F: THE DELAYED ACCESSORY RELAY DOES NOT TURN OFF/ALL WINDOWS OPERATE WITH THE IGNITION IN THE OFF POSITIONF1:
Normal Operation
Under normal operation, voltage is supplied to the accessory delay relay coil through circuit 297 (BK/LG) and the accessory delay relay switch through circuit 1118 (RD). Ground for the accessory delay relay is provided internally through the smart junction box (SJB). When the relay is energized, voltage is sent to the power window switches through circuit 400 (LB/BK).
Possible Causes
- A short to voltage in circuit 400 (LB/BK)
- Smart junction box (SJB)
- Accessory delay relay
