F1-F3:

F4-F6:

Normal Operation
The tachometer receives a variable voltage signal from the powertrain control module (PCM) to the instrument cluster through circuit 11 (TN/YE). The instrument cluster interprets the signal sent from the PCM and commands the tachometer to sweep to the correct reading.

Possible Causes
- circuit 11 (TN/YE) open, short to voltage, or short to ground
- instrument cluster
- PCM
