Transmission Support Crossmember

Removal
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Maintenance/Service and Repair.
2. Install a suitable high-lift transmission jack.
3. Remove the 2 wire harness retainers from the rear crossmember and position the wire harness aside.





4. Remove the LH crossmember nuts.





5. Remove the LH crossmember bracket.





6. Remove the RH crossmember nuts.





7. Remove the RH crossmember bracket.





8. Remove the rear transmission mount nuts and the rear crossmember.





Installation
1. Position the crossmember to the transmission mount and loosely install the nut.





2. Install the LH crossmember bracket.





3. Install the LH crossmember bracket nuts
^ Tighten to 81 Nm (60 ft. lbs.)





4. Install the RH crossmember bracket.





5. Install the RH crossmember bracket nuts
^ Tighten to 81 Nm (60 ft. lbs.)





6. Tighten the rear insulator nuts to 94 Nm (69 ft. lbs.)





7. Install the wire harness and install the 2 retaining clips to the rear of the crossmember.
