Transmission Support Crossmember

Removal and Installation
1. Secure a suitable transmission jack to the transmission.







2. Disconnect the wiring harness from the crossmember, if equipped.
3. Remove the transmission mount insulator nuts.
- To install, tighten to 94 Nm (69 lb-ft).







4. Remove the heat shield-to-crossmember bolts.







5. Remove the RH crossmember nuts.
- To install, tighten to 81 Nm (60 lb-ft).







6. Remove the LH crossmember nuts.
- To install, tighten to 81 Nm (60 lb-ft).







7. Remove the LH crossmember bolt.







8. Remove the RH crossmember bolt and transmission support crossmember.







9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
