Removal and Installation
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Battery.
2. Remove the lower instrument panel.
3. Disconnect the steering wheel rotation sensor electrical connector.
4. Remove the 2 steering wheel rotation sensor bolts.
^ To install, tighten to 1 Nm (9 inch lbs).
5. Remove the steering wheel rotation sensor.
6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Calibrate the ABS module. Follow the scan tool directions. Clear the DTCs. Carry out the self test with the brakes not applied.
