Normal Operation
The restraints control module (RCM) monitors all the deployable devices for a cross link between the circuits of another deployable device. If the RCM detects a short between the circuits of the deployable devices, it will store diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B2792 in memory and send a message to the instrument cluster module to illuminate the air bag warning indicator.

Possible Causes
A cross link fault between the circuits of deployable devices can be caused by:
- damaged wiring, terminals or connectors.
- a faulted RCM.
