Normal Operation
The parking aid system is enabled when the ignition switch is in the RUN position and the transaxle is in REVERSE (R). The system can be disabled by the parking aid disable switch.

DTC C1748 - sets when the parking aid module senses a short to ground on circuit 1435 (DG/VT).

Possible Causes
- Circuit 1435 (DG/VT) short to ground
- Parking aid disable switch
- Parking aid module
