Normal Operation
The DSM receives a key out command over the MS-CAN communication network and powers the driver seat rearward about 51 mm (2 in).

Possible Causes
An inoperative/not operating correctly easy entry/exit seat feature can be caused by:
- the easy entry/exit feature is not enabled.
- missing status information (CAN communication bus messages) to the driver seat module (DSM):
- ignition switch status.
- gear selector position.

- wiring, terminals or connectors.
- a faulty key-in-ignition warning switch.
- a faulty driver seat module (DSM).
