Wheel Speed Sensor - Front:

Removal and Installation

1. NOTE: If equipped, turn the air suspension switch to the OFF position.

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist
2. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove the wheel speed sensor harness retainer bolt and detach the retainers.
^ To install, tighten to 12 Nm (9 ft. lbs.)

4. CAUTION: Do not allow the caliper to hang from the brake hose or damage to the hose can result.

Remove the 2 caliper anchor bolts and position the caliper, pads and anchor plate aside.
^ Support the caliper with mechanic's wire.
^ To install, tighten to 200 Nm (148 ft. lbs.)
5. Remove the brake disc.
6. Remove the front wheel speed sensor bolt and the sensor.
^ To install, tighten to 18 Nm (13 ft. lbs.)
7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
