Normal Operation
When the headlamp switch is placed in the HEADLAMPS ON position, the smart junction box (SJB) monitors the high beam request circuit from the multifunction switch through circuit CLF02 (GY/BN). When the multifunction switch is placed in the HIGH BEAM position, the signal is routed to ground through circuit GD138 (BK/WH). The SJB then energizes the high beam relay (integral to the SJB) which supplies voltage to the headlamps (and flash-to-pass lamps, if equipped) through circuit CLF08 (YE/VT).

Possible Causes
- Fuse
- Circuit CLF02 (GY/BN) open
- Circuit CLF08 (YE/VT) open
- Circuit GD138 (BK/WH) open
- Multifunction switch
- SJB
