POWER FOLDING MIRRORS FOLD AND UNFOLD UN-COMMANDED

ISSUE
Some 2007 Expedition Limited and Navigator vehicles may exhibit un-commanded power folding mirrors (fold in or out repeatedly).

ACTION
Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1. Check the date code of the (driver seat module) DSM.

2. If the DSM was built before date code 061031 (year,month,day), replace the DSM following Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 419-10. The date code can be found on the white sticker 3rd line, on right, below the FoMoCo.

3. For other power fold mirror operating conditions and driver seat modules built after 061031 (year,month,day) date code, follow normal WSM, Section 501-9 diagnostics.
