Normal Operation
Under normal operation, the air inlet door actuator motors are supplied voltage or ground on circuit 1998 (DB/LG), depending on desired actuator rotation, by the electronic manual temperature control (EMTC) module or electronic automatic temperature control (EATC) module. The EMTC module or EATC module then supplies the appropriate voltage or ground to the other side of the actuator motor on circuit 1999 (BN/OG).

Possible Causes
- An open, short to voltage, ground or together in circuits 1998 (DB/LG) or 1999 (BN/OG)
- Air inlet door actuator
- EATC module
- Manual climate control module
- Stuck or bound linkage or door
