Normal Operation
The instrument cluster sends a tone request to the generic electronic module (GEM) over circuit 91S-GG21 (BK/WH). The GEM receives this information and sounds the appropriate chime.

Possible Causes
- Circuit 91S-GG21 (BK/WH) short to ground
- GEM
- Instrument cluster.
