WARNING:

- The fuel system remains pressurized for a long time after the ignition is switched off. The fuel pressure must be relieved before attempting any repairs. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.


1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Release the fuel filler cap and position aside.
3. Insert the chamfered end of the fuel drain hose into the fuel tank filler pipe through the guide tube. Insert the hose until the stop contacts the guide tube. If the stop does not contact the guide tube, remove the hose and repeat the procedure.
4. Attach the fuel storage tanker to the fuel tank drain hose and remove the fuel from the fuel tank.
