Test F: The Speed Control Indicator Lamp Is Always On
PINPOINT TEST F: THE SPEED CONTROL INDICATOR LAMP IS ALWAYS ONF1-F3:
Normal Operation
The speed control actuator communicates through the standard corporate protocol (SCP) network with the instrument cluster to illuminate the speed control indicator lamp. When the speed control system has been turned on and is ready to process driver commands, the speed control switches provide a resistance, through circuit 151 (LB/BK), and circuit 848 (DG/OG), to the speed control actuator.
Possible Causes
- Instrument cluster
- Speed control actuator
