Removal And Installation
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Remove the bussed electrical center (BEC) terminal bolt.
- To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).

3. Remove the 8 pin-type retainers and remove the radiator support sight shield.
4. Remove the battery ground cable bolt.
- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

5. Release the 3 battery cable locators from the battery cover and roll restrictor bracket.
6. Remove the starter motor solenoid terminal cover.
7. Remove the starter motor solenoid battery cable nut and position the cable aside.
- To install, tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).

8. Remove the battery ground cable nut and position the cable aside.
- To install, tighten to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft).

9. Remove the generator B+ cable nut and position the cable aside.
- Position the generator B+ cable boot aside to gain access to the nut.
- To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).

10. Release the 3 generator B+ cable locators.
11. Remove the battery cable assembly.
12. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
