D: C1233, C1234, C1235 and C1236 - Wheel Speed Sensor Signal Fault

Pinpoint Test D: DTCs C1233, C1234, C1235 and C1236 - Wheel Speed Sensor Signal Fault
Refer to Vehicle Diagrams Cell 43, Vehicle Dynamic Systems for schematic and connector information.

Normal Operation
The wheel speed sensor and sensor ring generate a square wave signal to the anti-lock brake system (ABS) module that is proportional to the wheel speed. The ABS module compares the wheel speed inputs from all the wheel speed sensors to determine an impending wheel lockup. Incorrect tire size can set these DTCs as well.

Possible Causes
^ Mismatched tire sizes
^ Wheel speed sensor ring (part of the wheel bearing and hub assembly)
^ Wheel speed sensor
^ ABS module

PINPOINT TEST D: DTCs C1233, C1234, C1235 AND C1236 - WHEEL SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL FAULT

CAUTION: The Flex Probe Kit must be used for all test connections. Use of standard multi-meter probes may damage wiring terminals
