Inertia Fuel Shutoff Switch: Service and Repair

INERTIA FUEL SHUTOFF (IFS) SWITCH







Removal and Installation
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

2. NOTE: The inertia fuel shutoff (IFS) switch is located on the RH toe board.

Remove the bolts, IFS switch protective cover and IFS switch.
- To install, tighten to 2 Nm (18 lb-in).

3. Disconnect the IFS switch electrical connector.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
